Back to LearnMake. Try. Explain.
My Maker Check
Pick one thing you made. Tell its story. Try one small change.
Read this together or answer out loud while a grown-up types. A drawing and a few words are enough.
Start with one tiny challenge
- Design: sketch two versions of a handle. Circle the easier one to hold.
- Game: predict what one block does. Change it, play, then explain what changed.
- Science: predict which sample a magnet will pick up. Test it with a grown-up.
- Website: pick a clearer project name. Ask someone what they think it means.
You choose the idea. Grown-ups handle hot printers, sharp tools, small magnets and tools with age restrictions.
Show the learning, too
Keep a first version and a changed version. Tell someone: “I changed this because…” A mistake you can explain is part of your project story.
